Academic Projects

Diagnosis of Heart Disease by integrating Naïve Bayes with K-Means Clustering
This project predicts the probability of Heart Stroke based on the input parameters given. The project, basically, is divided into two parts Clustering and Classification. The algorithm is trained with training data to divide it into K clusters and then classify it to diagnose the heart disease patients.

Creating a Twitter Dataset excluding bots contribution
I was selected for this project of TEQIP phase-II worth Rs 1 Lakh. In this modern era of bots, flooding social media and manipulating people has become far more easier than anything. This project collects a considerable amount of tweets for a given trend or hashtag and filters it by removing the tweets contributed by bots. Firstly, individual user tweets are examined and many factors are considered, like the negativity or positivity of the tweets, number of tweets per period, timing of the tweet etc, which determines it whether it is a human or bot.

Project : Log360 Cloud
This project features the log collection analysis and generating reports of configured devices like windows/linux machines.
My contributions:

  • Developed UI for the configuration of devices
  • Added support for communication between cloud service and configured devices
  • Added support for uploading logs to upload server from configured devices
  • Added support for discovering and adding/removing Event source files for log collection for a device
  • Added support for device groups where a few device can be allocated to a group to perform actions
  • Handled group delegation for different technician roles
  • Exploring new features to be added

Project : Recovery Manager Plus

Sub-project : Backup and restore of HyperV Virtual Machines
This project features backing up and restoring of HyperV virtual machines from/to a provided local/remote repository path.
My contributions:
  • Developed module for the backup and restore of HyperV VMs
  • Added support for starting VM after restore
  • Added support for Disk restore for a HyperV VM
  • Added support for remote repository path to backup and restore of VMs
  • Developed Live Migration module for migrating HyperV Virtual Machines

Sub-project : Backup and restore of Active Directory objects
This project features backing up and restoring of Active Directory objects.
My contributions:
  • Developed module for the backup and restore of Group Policy Objects
  • Developed module for the backup and restore of Group Policy Preferences
  • Revamped the database persistence module throughout the project to use Elastic Search(previously Pgsql was being used) resulting in 30% improvement in the performance
  • Added support for reading custom ADMX templates from configured DCs to backup and restore custom templates GPO settings
  • Added Technician support for the product and handled delegation for multiple roles

This application features the exhibition of expenses and income of an individual. The application makes use of the technologies like XML, Java, Firebase.

  • Firebase Auth Rest API for registration and authentication purposes
  • Firebase Database Rest API to store and retrieve the information provided
